Created to introduce my technical skillset and career experience
I have around 7 years of experience in the Software Industry as an IT (Business) Analyst and Developer of Window Based Applications and ERP. I have been involved in client interaction to come up with requirement specifications for development, through to Implementation and user acceptance testing, thus covering the whole of SDLC. I have generated substantial customer satisfaction and goodwill by continuously meeting deliverables on time, with quality.
As a Systems Engineer, my responsibility was to gather requirements from clients and prepare functional and requirement specifications and the rest of the SD Life cycle.
As a Systems Engineer, my role was to Client interaction, Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Bug fixing, QA and Documentation. Report writing was extensive. I was also involved in conducting short development courses to team members.
As an IT (Business) Analyst, I have been involved in various roles involving a number of clients. I have been responsible for gathering requirement from clients, analyzing requirements and data, preparing specifications, developing, testing and also implementing the same. My role differed according to the project requirement.
I have work experience as an ASP.NET Core developer. Have used Azure DevOps
for deployment of the project.
I have worked as a techno-functional consultant for the ERP, MfgPro, for a
considerable amount of time with domain knowledge of Manufacturing and Retail sectors.
During this tenure, I have been into projects involving customization of various modules
of MfgPro including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing and Financials.
I have good knowledge of Progress 4GL/SQL Server. As a Progress 4GL developer, have been
involved in both development of new code, as well as modifications to the existing code,
which have been unit tested and have also been tested for functional correctness.
A few projects include -
I have good communication skills and hence have been a good team player
during all my projects.
I have been involved in conducting training programmes for team members.
I am open to learning and am a quick learner.
I have a positive attitude towards everything and never give up easily.
I have good problem solving skills.
I took a career break due to family commitments. As my son is in school,
I plan to resume my job as a developer.
I have taken up an online MSc Computer Science course from Bath University to
get updated on the current trends in the software industry.
Meanwhile, I have also been working alongside as an Asp.Net Core developer for
the past few months.
